Get Ready To Rumble...
To kick off the new year for ninjas and pirates alike, 2SNKY will be hosting a Pairs PVP tournament for corp members. The tournment will officially begin Friday, January 2nd. Applications will not be accepted past Saturday and the tournment will reach its conclution no later than Sunday. Since this is fairly short notice, if we are not able to get four unique teams we will defer the tournment one week.
What can I fly?
- Tech I frigates
- Meta level 0 modules
- No faction ammo
- No faction frigates
- No Rigs
What other crappy restrictions are there?
- Teams will consist of two applicants.
- Applicants may be part of two teams but those teams cannot consist of the same two players.
- The radius of the arena will be 200km. Leaving the arena will result in a warning. Failing to return to the arena will forfeit the match for the offending team.
- A match cannot exceed five minutes. In the event of a match exceeding five minutes, votes will be cast by spectators to determine the winner.
- The ship fitting in which you start your first match is the ship fitting you must use for all remaining matches.
- You will be scanned by a referee prior to each match to ensure all tournament rules are being followed.
- If an applicant is a member of both of the final teams in the tournament, s/he will be removed from the final match and a one-on-one will decide the winning team.
- Victory of a match is achieved by detroying both ships of the opposing team or having the most ships remaining at the end of the match. In the event of that the same number of ships remains on both sides at match end, a vote will be cast by spectators to determine the outcome. Votes must be based on the onlookers' views of who would win the fight longterm (you may be asked to explain your vote).
- Matches are single elimination.
- Applicants must have applications in no later than Saturday, Friday is prefered.
- No pod killing.
